Our Cause

Cambridge is a city made rich by its diversity. Almost one third of our population is foreign-born and almost one fifth lacks citizenship (around 18,000 residents). This diversity enriches our culture, from the festivals that fill the weekends to the restaurants in Central Square; from the Nobel Prize winning research conducted in our universities to students who can learn a foreign language from someone who has spoken it their entire lives.

Organized in February of 2016, our small group of local activists wants to strengthen this community by protecting that diversity. We are  working to increase representation and civic engagement of the substantial immigrant & refugee communities living in Cambridge.
